This might be just what you need.
I thought I was just going to tell you about the shop... I was wrong.
I just want to start this off by saying I really am changing, and it’s powerful to acknowledge it.
Like I mentioned a few weeks back I’ve been studying a lot about stress and magnesium this book specifically (Cure your Fatigue by Morely Robbins) and when I decided to do this little shop update, I almost immediately was like… why did I agree to do this?
Do you have enough on your plate, Elizabeth????
I instantly went to work in a low pressure way to get things ready, and order product that would be simple and super possible to get here on time.
Those things aren’t here.
I floated the idea of making new product. That product didn’t get made.
I made an agreement with myself. I’m not going to stay up late for this, and I will not raise my blood pressure trying to do too much in too little time.
I have taken inventory over the past week. I have all my shipping materials ordered and ready. I let go of things that I couldn’t control and I didn’t make myself sick. I didn’t drive my family crazy. I did what I could and I let the rest go.
And the shop was up on time.
I kept it together. I took things out of the shop that would difficult or stressful to pack. I took anything out of the shop where there might be an equipment malfunction that would give me grief. I just said no.
Is everything that I could have possibly wanted to pull together in the shop? No. My stickers are stuck in Cologne, Germany. Do I wish I was with them at a Christmas market eating a pretzel? Yes. I do.
I have spent more than half of my life overextending myself, and I have, and continue to pay a very dear price for that.
I’m deliberately working to heal, and if nothing else, this little shop update has shown me that I can change. I’m not addicted to the stress. There is an easier way, and I can take that path.
I’m breathing easy.
I am worthy of my own kindness, and that’s a bit of a miracle.
Just a couple of notes about the shop update!
The shop will be open from today December 12 until 4:00PM MST December 17th. Any last orders will be at the post office that night.
The entire shop is 10% off. The discount is taken automatically at checkout.
When you spend $50 you get a free zipper charm!
When you spend $75+ shipping is free.
Unfortunately shipping is cut off to a lot of the world right now for varying reasons, such as strikes and new requirements. There is however still group shipping to Australia, which may arrive after Christmas. Please be warned.
I’m going to go eat a pizza with my family, and I’ll start packing orders tomorrow morning after I drop Magnolia to school.
Also, we’ve got our first community member post going up tomorrow, and I’m so excited to share it with you!
I hope you’re having a wonderful holiday season. Please remember that while you’re a lovely human being, you’re also a mammal (most likely in the Northern Hemisphere), and every bit of nature around you is telling you and showing you to do less, and slow down. Do what you can to listen.

So proud of you for having boundaries. It’s so easy to fill our plate with things that we think are important in the moment. 🖤
You’re right! Don’t let you crazy tired. You can do only if you have time. Please enjoy the holiday season with your family. Your life is only yours. From Japan!
