I’m a big fan of Christmas.
I love most of all the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. I really love Christmas carols. I love Charlie Brown and Snoopy. I love the lights and the tree. I love Holiday Baking! I love giving gifts. I love the weeks at the end of the year cozy at home with my little family. I love the spirit of generosity that people feel and show to those in need. I love the magic of it all.
This collection is about the tiny little things that make Christmas fun, and sweet.
Over the past few years in my paper business, I’ve created more and more designs that we’ve fallen in love with and almost as soon as I started designing for Moda they let me know they were gonna need Christmas from me.
There’s a lot to cover, so I’ll keep it as concise as possible!
I love how it all turned out, it’s a very Lizzy House Christmas color story. The fabrics are so lovely to work with. Truly enchanting!
I will say, even though the fabrics are clearly holiday themed, they still feel pretty classic, something you’ll definitely want in your collection.
I thought of the panel pretty last minute. One day I just had the thought… what if we added a garland, and I got the green light! Because it is digitally printed (so beautifully might I add), we were able to use my actual artwork and it’s just so stinking cute. I’ve got lots of little projects planned with it, and I can’t wait to tell you and show you more in a little while.
I didn’t know they were making the 108’ Pearl Bracelets to match the collection until they showed up at my house! They are so wonderful! What a perfect way to back any of these quilts!
United Notions is carrying an assortment of stickers for shops. Each pack comes with 4 stickers that you can sell separately! They’re also carrying an assortment of the Holiday cards. Each pack comes with 6 individually wrapped cards that can also be sold individually.
They’ve also made the cutest tote with our favorite Christmas stamps!
AND! We’ve got 3 new glitter holiday zipper charms! A sweet little candy cane, an exuberant gingerbread man, and the sweetest little bow (with a very cute face). Good for all seasons
I’ve made this quilt for Quilt Market and it’s so much fun! I loved designing it, and I’m working on making the pattern WORK. I’ve always loved a classic ribbon block and this is my twist on that. I love the dimension that the inside and outside of the ribbons create. You’re gonna love this one!
I’ve finally renamed the “Ice Cream Cone Mystery Quilt” Chelsea Buns. This is a little nod to Bake Off, but also to the little cone pieces that are so easy to “tear and share”. I’m excited that everyone will be able to make it now. We’re working on templates for this quilt!
Holiday Cookie Party is very fun sampler… ranging from very simple blocks to this is gonna take a minute blocks. Making it a really rewarding project with some rests built into it. It uses traditional piecing, paper piecing, and even includes a little applique make it come to life.
Shiny and Bright is sort of a Kaleidoscope but sort of a Lazy Girl block. BUT! I made it curved! The stars have slightly sloped sides for just a little something extra. It doesn’t complicate the piecing, but it does soften them up. As a collector of vintage glass ornaments, this is the perfect quilt to get cozy by a glowing Christmas tree.
Let your favorite local shop know that you’d love for them to carry Tiny Christmas!
I’m still working on getting all the Love Letter Patterns printed, and then these will be in print. Hopefully all by the middle of November so I can spend December mostly in peace with my people. Or least that’s always my plan and one day it might work out that way…
What’s your favorite thing about Tiny Christmas? What are you looking forward to most? I’d love to hear from you!
I am sooooo excited about this!
